I am fascinated how everyone's socks spirals in a different way with these yarns. :-)Raytheisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13435606239407632628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28072989.post-44797983589924064772008-03-25T18:31:00.000+00:002008-03-25T18:31:00.000+00:00You're a better woman than I. It's lovely yarn and apparently it will wear forever.J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02900094433763500687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28072989.post-59923572324737293202008-03-25T00:43:00.000+00:002008-03-25T00:43:00.000+00:00The STR yarn is very, very nice. I could drive there in about two hours (hey, that's considered local here.) It may be "big" now, relatively speaking, but nothing compared to the major producers.

The Lost Flock Fibers are lovely too.

If you ever come out this way, try to make it in June so you can attend the Black Sheep Gathering.

I'm having a recurrence of the dreaded wrist tendinitis (due to very large child who still needs lots of picking up) and that may put a damper on things for a while, though...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28072989.post-24579330983076966992008-03-24T16:06:00.000+00:002008-03-24T16:06:00.000+00:00Hey! Hope you like it once you get it....

I've used BMFA and really like it - I find it a little heavy, makes for a good thick sock (good for Michigan winters) but it knits nicely. The inside out sock in Ravelry were from last years sock club.

I guess I support them as they started out in their kitchen too years ago. Which is where I am now. More power to them if they can make a living (and a living for their staff) doing what they love.

And their colorways do not disappoint - I've ordered a few outside the sock club and they have been lovely. Had I known you hadn't yet experienced it, I could have de-stashed some to you.....Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01401278810983325392noreply@blogger.com
